statement-of-record
While not legally required to do so, I have at times engaged in voluntary discussions or arrangements in good faith in an effort to resolve matters pragmatically, including in circumstances where significant pressure was being applied. I intend to honour such arrangements if and when I am able; however, it should be made clear that I have not taken or misappropriated funds and have always been willing to cooperate fully with any competent legal authority. I have done nothing unlawful and have continued in good faith to work toward building lawful projects intended to benefit all stakeholders. I have entered into voluntary arrangements only in connection with matters relating to a corporate entity of which I was a shareholder and director. I have not entered into multiple agreements in which I owe personal debts in the manner being alleged. Personal liability arises only where it is explicitly created, and it has not been; a voluntary arrangement does not constitute an unlimited personal debt, and an agreement executed on behalf of a corporate entity is legally distinct from signing as an individual principal debtor. Those voluntary arrangements included mutual protections such as non-disparagement, non-interference with third parties, cessation of claims, and good-faith performance. These protections were material terms intended to safeguard my ability to continue working productively and, in turn, to have a realistic opportunity to honour such arrangements. Despite this, the other parties have breached and continue to breach those obligations while still asserting expectations that I maintain voluntary arrangements, notwithstanding that their conduct has caused ongoing reputational harm and has materially impaired my ability to do so. There is no legal basis for public accusations, intimidation, or third-party pressure. The appropriate remedies are lawful processes such as arbitration or court proceedings, not harassment, coercive behaviour, or the continued infliction of reputational harm.
